Grow Berries

There are a few berries that jelly and preserves are made from that grow on trees, not on vines or bushes.

It also has large oblong leaves, and is about 3 to 5 feet tall. I am wondering what this plant is, and if the berries are edible. It appears that something, possibly birds are eating these berries. Any thoughts??

Okay I’m doing a sort of project on porcupines. They’re born in the spring and it says berries are a part of their diet. I was wondering, what berries, if any, grow in North America in the Spring time?

I have tasted one and they are very sweet but I am worried they are poisonous. So far I”m feeling fine.

My berries always grow slowly, and wondered if there was a way to grow them quickly, without using mulch. (growth mulch gooey mulch, ect.)

I live in an apartment and I know ideally these vine plants need a lot of space but has anyone grown berries in a pot with success?
